U.S. Route 6 ~ Locally, U.S. Rt 6 extends across Ashtabula County from Hartsgrove Township at the Geauga County (western) line east to Andover Village Square then north to Richmond Township, bypassing north of Pymatuning Reservoir then continuing east through Linesville, PA.
U.S. Route 6 is a main Route of the U.S. Highway System, running east from Bishop, California to Provincetown, Massachusetts, for a total of 3,227 miles, maiking it the second longest U.S. Route in the country.  Along its route it crosses America's heartland extending across the states of Maine, Rhode Island, Conneticut, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, Utah, Nevada and California, and connecting the Pacific to the Atlantic.
